He was previously the representative for Tennessee’s 1st congressional district as a Jackson from 1831 to 1833; the representative for Tennessee’s 1st congressional district as a Jackson from 1829 to 1831; the representative for Tennessee’s 1st congressional district as a Jackson from 1827 to 1829; the representative for Tennessee’s 1st congressional district as a Jackson from 1825 to 1827; and the representative for Tennessee’s 1st congressional district as a Jacksonian from 1823 to 1825.
