He was previously the representative for Ohio’s 5th congressional district as a Republican from 1823 to 1825; the representative for Ohio’s 2nd congressional district as a Republican from 1821 to 1823; the representative for Ohio’s 2nd congressional district as a Republican from 1819 to 1821; and the representative for Ohio’s 2nd congressional district as a Republican from 1817 to 1819.
