Cochran was the representative for Missouri’s 13th congressional district and was a Democrat. He served from 1935 to 1946.
He was previously the representative for Missouri’s at-large district as a Democrat from 1933 to 1934; the representative for Missouri’s 11th congressional district as a Democrat from 1931 to 1933; the representative for Missouri’s 11th congressional district as a Democrat from 1927 to 1931; and the representative for Missouri’s 11th congressional district as a Democrat from 1925 to 1927.
