Condit was the representative for New Jersey and was a Republican. He served from 1819 to 1821.
He was previously a senator from New Jersey as a Republican from 1811 to 1817; a senator from New Jersey as a Republican from 1809 to 1811; a senator from New Jersey as a Republican from 1803 to 1809; the representative for New Jersey as a Republican from 1801 to 1803; and the representative for New Jersey’s 1st congressional district as a Republican from 1799 to 1801.
