He was previously the representative for Pennsylvania’s 9th congressional district as a Republican from 1807 to 1811; the representative for Pennsylvania’s 9th congressional district as a Republican from 1805 to 1807; the representative for Pennsylvania’s 9th congressional district as a Republican from 1803 to 1805; the representative for Pennsylvania’s 11th congressional district as a Republican from 1801 to 1803; the representative for Pennsylvania’s 11th congressional district as a Republican from 1799 to 1801; and the representative for Pennsylvania as a Republican from 1793 to 1795.
