Hill was a senator from Georgia and was a Republican. He served from 1871 to 1873.
He was previously the representative for Georgia’s 7th congressional district as an Ind. Republican-Democrat from 1859 to 1861; and the representative for Georgia’s 7th congressional district as an American from 1857 to 1859.
