Republican-Democrat from 1855 to 1857; the representative for Ohio’s 3rd congressional district as a Whig from 1853 to 1855; the representative for Ohio’s 2nd congressional district as a Whig from 1851 to 1853; and the representative for Ohio’s 2nd congressional district as a Whig from 1849 to 1851.
