He was previously the representative for Massachusetts’s 15th congressional district as a Federalist from 1803 to 1805; the representative for Massachusetts’s 13th congressional district as a Federalist from 1801 to 1803; the representative for Massachusetts’s 13th congressional district as a Federalist from 1799 to 1801; the representative for Massachusetts’s 13th congressional district as a Federalist from 1795 to 1799; and the representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district as a Federalist from 1793 to 1795.
