He was previously the representative for Ohio’s 9th congressional district as an Adams from 1825 to 1827; the representative for Ohio’s 9th congressional district as (unknown party) from 1823 to 1825; the representative for Ohio’s 5th congressional district as a Republican from 1819 to 1821; and the representative for Ohio’s 5th congressional district as a Republican from 1817 to 1819.
