He was previously the representative for Kansas’s 3rd congressional district as a Republican from 1907 to 1915; the representative for Kansas’s 3rd congressional district as a Republican from 1905 to 1907; and the representative for Kansas’s 3rd congressional district as a Republican from 1903 to 1905.
