He was previously the representative for Alabama’s 1st congressional district as a Democrat from 1893 to 1895; the representative for Alabama’s 1st congressional district as a Democrat from 1891 to 1893; and the representative for Alabama’s 1st congressional district as a Democrat from 1889 to 1891.
