He was previously the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1931 to 1934; the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1927 to 1931; the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1925 to 1927; the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1923 to 1925; and the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1921 to 1923.
