Miller was a senator from South Carolina and was a Nullifier. He served from 1831 to 1833.
He was previously the representative for South Carolina’s 9th congressional district as a Republican from 1817 to 1819; and the representative for South Carolina’s 9th congressional district as a Republican from 1815 to 1817.
