He was previously the representative for Pennsylvania's 21st congressional district (1837-1839; Anti Masonic); the representative for Pennsylvania's 21st congressional district (1835-1837; Anti Masonic); the representative for Pennsylvania's 21st congressional district (1833-1835; Anti Masonic); and the representative for Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district (1831-1833; Anti Masonic).
