He was previously the representative for South Carolina's 7th congressional district (1811-1813); the representative for South Carolina's 7th congressional district (1807-1811); the representative for South Carolina's 7th congressional district (1805-1807); the representative for South Carolina's 7th congressional district (1803-1805); and the representative for South Carolina's 6th congressional district (1801-1803).
