He was previously the representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district as a Republican from 1821 to 1823; the representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district as a Republican from 1819 to 1821; and the representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district as a Republican from 1817 to 1819.
