He was previously the representative for South Carolina’s 6th congressional district as a Nullifier from 1833 to 1835; the representative for South Carolina’s 6th congressional district as a Nullifier from 1831 to 1833; the representative for South Carolina’s 6th congressional district as a Jackson from 1829 to 1831; and the representative for South Carolina’s 6th congressional district as a Jackson from 1827 to 1829.
