He was previously the representative for Louisiana’s 3rd congressional district as a Democrat from 1927 to 1929; the representative for Louisiana’s 3rd congressional district as a Democrat from 1925 to 1927; the representative for Louisiana’s 3rd congressional district as a Democrat from 1923 to 1925; and the representative for Louisiana’s 3rd congressional district as most recently a Democrat (1919-1923) and previously a Progressive (1915-1919) from 1915 to 1923.
