Wilkins was the representative for Pennsylvania’s 21st congressional district as a Democrat. He served from 1843 to 1845.
He was previously a senator from Pennsylvania as a Jackson from 1831 to 1835; and the representative for Pennsylvania as a Democrat from 1829 to 1831.
