Former Senator for Georgia


Lumpkin was a senator from Georgia and was a Democrat. He served from 1837 to 1841.

He was previously the representative for Georgia as a Jackson from 1831 to 1833; the representative for Georgia as a Jackson from 1829 to 1831; the representative for Georgia’s 4th congressional district as a Jackson from 1827 to 1829; and the representative for Georgia as a Republican from 1815 to 1817.
