S. 25 (113th): South Utah Valley Electric Conveyance Act

This was a vote to pass S. 25 (113th) in the House. This vote was taken under a House procedure called “suspension of the rules” which is typically used to pass non-controversial bills. Votes under suspension require a 2/3rds majority. A failed vote under suspension can be taken again.

This is a budget bill that makes small changes to the budget deal enacted previously. Although the bill began as the "South Utah Valley Electric Conveyance Act" and had passed the Senate in that form, the House replaced the text of the bill in whole with budget changes. The House and Senate then passed the bill in this new form.
