H.R. 30: Save American Workers Act of 2015

This was a vote to pass H.R. 30 (114th) in the House.

The Save American Workers Act of 2015 would reduce the number of individuals that employers must provide health insurance to under the Affordable Care Act (ACA, aka Obamacare) by changing the ACA’s definition of full time employment from 30 hours per week to 40 hours per week. This is the second time Rep. Todd Young (R-IN9) introduced a version of this bill. Its previous incarnation was passed by the House in 2014 but never made it through the Senate. The current version of the bill has been passed by the House.
