THE QUAYLE AMENDMENT SOUGHT TO PROVIDE $1.25 BILLION IN FEDERAL LOAN GUARANTEES, $1.14 BILLION IN CONCESSIONS FROM CHRYSLER PERSONNEL, AND $1.14 BILLION IN NONFEDERALLY GUARANTEED ASSISTANCE; TO REQUIRE $250 MILLION IN NEWLY ISSUED COMMON STOCK TO AN EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN; AND TO REQUIRE A THREE MEMBER RATHER THAN A FIVE MEMBER LOAN GUARANTEE BOARD.
